The Study of GIFS
We love GIFS!
A fun never ending movement…
But what if just a small detail of the image is constantly moving? It becomes magical!
Contemporary - fine art – alive portrait!
We have been experimenting and using this technique for a few years. When people ask about our work, we always incorporate a GIF (fun or artistic) of us.
This is the first GIF we made of ourselves (with some extra pounds in 2009, rss) This is the first artistic GIF we did (Ariane + Arthur: trash the dress session in 2010)
Recently we discovered the fantastic work of the artists Kevin Burg and Jamie Beck from New York. They named the technique as cinemagraphic and implemented this status of modern art on visual material for fashion and publicity.
The technique can be used for different purposes, but it's amazing when applied in weddings: The magic finds a meaningful idea!
The use of GIFS to focus on details – pieces of moving moments that the couple desire to keep alive – makes the art enigmatic and fulfils with a surprise.
We first brought the GIFS into the wedding field for extra fun but today the artistic GIFS are what modern couples get more impressed with when looking at our work.
We love our printed albums, but wedding photos are also visualized a lot on a digital form on a computer. The GIFS are a way of adding unique art to online albums.
